If you are looking for a dentist in Germantown, TN, Memphis or surrounding areas, contact us today.
Our practice is conveniently located near the intersection of Wolf River Boulevard and Germantown Parkway, close to several major medical centers. We are open Monday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Dr. Cooley is always accessible via phone, and existing patients will always be seen for emergency treatment. We provide a relaxing, spa-like environment, complete with amenities like warm blankets, neck pillows, aromatherapy, fresh flowers, paraffin hand wax, and televisions in every treatment room. We also play My Smile TV while you wait, with interesting tips and facts about your dental health.
Dr. Cooley is committed to using the latest technology to ensure your dental care is the best it can be. Our technology includes:
- Intraoral cameras
- Salivary DNA tests
- OralID™ oral cancer detection
- Waterlase® surgical laser
In addition to these diagnostic and treatment lasers, Dr. Cooley uses an iPad to help explain treatments to patients. Our team will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of your oral health so you can be an active participant in its care and maintenance.
When it comes to dental anxiety, few dentists offer the same level of compassion that Dr. Cooley provides. He understands that dental phobia and anxiety are very real problems, and he goes out of his way to accommodate patients with these conditions. Our team works daily to create a calming, relaxing environment. Additionally, we provide both nitrous oxide and oral sedation options. These options help many patients feel more comfortable during their treatments.
Ongoing Education and Outreach
Dr. Cooley has been a member of the Crown Council for 10 years. This organization provides ongoing education and research in all areas of dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry, oral cancer research, and the latest technologies in the dental field. Dr. Cooley is a respected member of the council, in which he maintains a direct connection to developing dental technology and techniques. In addition to Dr. Cooley's continuing education, our two hygienists regularly attend seminars focused on periodontal care. By doing so, they also continue to learn new techniques to keep our patients' smiles healthy and strong.
Our team is dedicated to our patients and to our fellow human. We participate in several charitable promotions, including the Smiles for Life Program. From March 1 through June 30, Dr. Cooley donates 100 percent of the proceeds from whitening services to children who face disabilities, serious illness, lack of medical care or decreased educational opportunities. Dr. Cooley and his team are planning a mission trip to the Dominican Republic in the fall of 2015 to continue on with their commitment to providing oral health to those less fortunate.
